Grace Church in Guin, Alabama reached out to Presence Pro Audio with ongoing issues from an underperforming sound system. The existing loudspeakers were not properly designed for the room, causing extremely poor intelligibility and making it difficult for the congregation to clearly hear worship and teaching.
The project focused on replacing incorrectly deployed equipment with a properly designed audio system that would provide clear, consistent, and reliable coverage throughout the worship space. Along with the audio improvements, video upgrades were added to enhance visibility for both the congregation and choir while preserving the beauty of the room.

The new audio system featured Fulcrum Acoustic DX1226 main loudspeakers paired with Fulcrum Acoustic RX669 fills to deliver balanced coverage throughout the sanctuary. An Apex 704 amplifier powered the system, while an Allen & Heath SQ-5 digital console and AR2412 stage box provided the church with a modern and flexible mixing platform.
The upgrade also included Shure SLX-D wireless microphones with Beta 58 capsules, EV PXM-12MP powered stage monitors, and DPA 4097 choir microphones to improve vocal clarity and overall worship production.
For video, Presence Pro Audio installed two Samsung 75” displays along with a Panasonic laser projector for the stage display. To maintain the clean look of the sanctuary, the projection system was designed to display directly onto the rear wall instead of adding a traditional screen, giving the choir a large, easy-to-read lyric display without changing the aesthetics of the space.
